Summer Workshop

Description

At the end of each season, we gather for a day of slowness, solitude, reflection, and gentle connection. Each seasonal workshop is a time to lovingly detach from present-day concerns and make space for recording and processing the previous three months. We bring our own loving attention to the life we have actually lived.

Various resources support the process throughout the day. We commune with the beauty of nature. We access the strength of collective focus. We use the tools of art and creativity to express and bring fresh insight about the meaning of our days. A community sharing circle in the afternoon offers an opportunity to be gently yet deeply heard and witnessed. By pausing to workshop at the end of each season, we build a rhythm of reflection that aligns our lives with the natural cadence of transition so easily observed in the natural world. This alignment deepens our personal resilience and strengthens our ability to recognize, embrace, and glean from the seasons of our lives.
